Why W.O.W. Radio? I throughly enjoy working with the W.O.W Radio staff! They are positive individuals that fully support the entrepreneurship in people. Being Indie is DEFINITELY something to be proud of! W.O.W pushes the Indie Community to express their creativity and perfect their craft. I admire the way W.O.W appreciates the Indie, even if just a simple jesture such a retweet on Twitter. We are always brainstorming on new campaigns, giveaways, events, contests , etc.to present to the Indie Community. If you have an Indie Spirit, then this is the Indie Media for you....

What do I do? I AM INDIE MEDIA! Basically.... it is my job to provide the Indie Community with the support, resources, opportunities and the voice they need to be heard locally & internationally. A typical day for me consists of reviewing Indie music submissions, programming & scheduling W.O.W Radio shows/playlists, compiling various forms of Indie newz and meeting with potential guests, interns, affiliates & sponsors. I also host "Indie Luv" (an original W.O.W Radio show). I luv connecting with refreshing & creative people. I also work for other Indie companies such as SuitlandFest CDC 501c3, At Your Service Detailing, Isola's Kitchen & Women of Wisdom, Inc. Friends & family categorize me as a workaholic, but I'm fine with that because I luv what I do with a passion & wouldn't have it any other way!

Ty Grr :: Director General

Name: Ty Grr aka Ty

Position: General Director

Education: Oxon Hill H.S. (Class of 1999) -- Pursuing MPP c/o 2014

Why W.O.W. Radio? For starters, W.O.W. Radio is a "minority-owned and operated" business!

Artists and lovers of The Arts, turn to W.O.W. Radio as a reprieve from the mainstream rigamarale society calls "music." There are a plethora of super talented artists in the world. They, and their listeners alike, are hard-pressed to find an outlet that offers them a chance to be themselves without compromise. W.O.W. Radio IS that outlet. We provide a community, a platform and a culture for Indie artists across the globe to share their self-expression of music and art - and BE HEARD. Finally, I've had the rare and distinguished privilege of bearing witness to the vision our CEO, Carib, has for this company; and I know this IS something I want to be a part of. We are a movement - where we make our own rules, carve out our own niche in the world and etch out our names in the history books.

What do I do?  Whatever it takes.

Not only do we all do our part of making it creative but each and everyone us, including myself, do whatever it takes to make this company what it is today. The fact that we dont judge makes it even better because each Indie artist has the oppurintunity to fully express their music, poetry, state of mind, flim and uniquieness.We feed off the strength of the Indie community & the new artists that continue to flow in with their new and amazing ideas and talents. Indie community is were its at! Carib tell 'em what it is! :)

Why W.O.W. Radio? I support WOW Radio because of what they stand for. It stands for a station that is not biased in who and what they play. It is true we don't play commercial music often unless it features an indie artist. This stands out for me because there are so many talent artists that are unsigned all over the DMV alone not to mention world wide. You will never hear some of these artist because commercial music stations play the same artists over and over not giving other artists a fair chance. Along with that WOW really support there staff in the ventures that they create! They are not afraid to promote different genres or companies. They support everything that is indie and gives everyone a chance to be heard on the station.

What do I do?  I am a Research Support Specialist/Scientist and a waitress! I am a Spoken Word Poetry Artist with the intentions of making the listeners feel what i feel and relate to what ever emotion i'm pushing out in my songs! Currently working on my EP and CD. I am also a Hair Jeweler. I make jewelry for hair and locs! I specialize in loc jewelry for men and women! I do many things and am always open to learning about more things. Anything else I missed to say? Just ask :-)
